1. Thread standard (most important):
One end: M20 × 1.5 metric coarse thread cylindrical external thread (national standard electrical box standard hole thread)
On the other end: 1/2 “NPT inner taper pipe thread, 14 threads per inch, ANSI B1.20.1 American taper pipe thread, self sealing by thread taper
Sealing form: The thread does not bear pressure and relies on the bottom end face O-ring to achieve waterproof sealing
2. Dimensions and installation specifications:
Hexagonal wrench edge: 24mm
Overall length: 28mm
Effective screw in length: 10mm for M20 end, 9mm for NPT end
Recommended tightening torque: 6~8N · m
3. There are two commonly used versions of materials:
Conventional industrial version: brass body+surface nickel plating, NBR nitrile rubber O-ring
Oil field explosion-proof and anti-corrosion version: 316L stainless steel, can be treated with NACE sulfur resistance, fluororubber FKM sealing ring (resistant to oil, acid, alkali, high temperature)
4. Protection, temperature and pressure:
Protection level: IP68 dustproof and waterproof after installation
Operating Temperature
NBR rubber ring: -40 ℃~100 ℃
FKM fluorine rubber ring: -40 ℃~200 ℃
Static pressure bearing: The maximum pressure of the shell is 5 bar, and it is only used for electrical wiring/instrument pressure low-voltage conversion. It cannot be used for high-pressure hydraulic main pipelines
